Callie’s Lake and Campground welcomes motorcycle groups for both camping and catering at our facility. We would love to host your group as you tour the scenic roads of Red River Gorge. No worries if you are not camping. We still have available space for your group to park, and we can cater delicious country breakfast and bbq dinners as well. Once you have completed your travels on a Saturday night, you can even join us for a beer and live music at our concert stage most weekends. Red River Gorge Scenic Byway
Arguably one of the most beautiful motorcycle rides in the state of Kentucky, the Red River Gorge Scenic Byway is a journey through nature with several twists, turns and points of interest along the way. Leaving Callie’s Lake and Campground, this ride takes you down KY 15 (Campton Road), to KY 77, around to KY 715 and back around to KY 15. There are even more great roads to run, just ask us at Callie’s Country Store and we can let you know where to go.
On the Red River Gorge Scenic Byway, you will ride through the famous Nada Tunnel, alongside the flowing river, next to amazing scenic overlooks and past a many places to stop and take it all in. We suggest that you Gladie Visitor Center for a rest and to learn more about the geological area. And, don’t miss any of the overlooks and arches. One of the best to explore as a motorcycle group is Sky Bridge. There is plenty of parking and this short hike will allow you to see the gorge for miles as you stand atop the natural stone arch.
